Through an innovative technology, Swiss chemistry start-up Bloom turns biomass into the fuel for a greener future. In order to highlight the company’s disruptive approach and make it accessible to a wider, non-professional target group, we were asked to holistically re-design the brand. Bloom’s new brand revolves around the transformative power of nature and the abundance of possibilities it holds for true change. Closely connected to life, it helps to communicate the technology’s value and actively fights the stereotype of traditional chemical companies. The resulting almost moving design system easily explains complex chemical reactions and can be applied in a variety of contexts.
